Shailey is the founder of Cadence Academy and a passionate mathematics specialist with over 15 years of teaching experience across multiple curricula. She holds a Master of Teaching (Secondary Mathematics) from the University of South Australia and is a certified Vedic Mathematics Trainer.

Shailey designs personalised programs for each individual student — because she believes no two learners are the same. Her mission is simple: ensure every child succeeds in mathematics, loves the subject, and feels genuinely confident in their ability.

Whether a student needs to fill foundational gaps, accelerate ahead of their year level, or master specialist senior content, Shailey tailors her approach to meet them exactly where they are and take them further than they imagined.

Scott brings 22 years of teaching experience in independent schools, with a strong background across both Middle and Senior School science and mathematics. He has taught Middle School Science and Maths, as well as Senior Chemistry, Biology, Psychology, AIF, Maths Essentials, and General Mathematics, giving him a broad and deep understanding of the secondary science and maths pathways.

Scott believes that tutoring is essential for success in science, as it provides the time and space students need to discuss concepts in depth — something he sees as critical for genuine understanding. His approach is clear, patient, and concept-driven, helping students build confidence while strengthening their analytical and problem-solving skills.

Jonathan is an experienced educator with 21 years of teaching expertise, shaped by his work in both Indonesia and Adelaide. He holds a Master of Education and currently teaches Mathematics, Science, and Christian Studies at Concordia College.

Jonathan is passionate about seeing students grow — not just academically, but in confidence, curiosity, and character. His teaching is grounded in clear explanations, patient guidance, and a genuine commitment to helping young people understand the world around them.

Geoffrey is a highly experienced mathematics educator with a career spanning over 30 years. Holding a Bachelor of Applied Science (Agriculture) and a Graduate Diploma in Education, he has taught Year 12 Mathematical Methods and General Mathematics since 1994.

Geoffrey has also worked extensively with SACE as both an exam marker and a Stage 2 mathematics moderator, giving him deep insight into curriculum expectations and assessment standards.

Driven by a genuine passion for mathematics, Geoffrey is committed to helping students build strong problem-solving skills and confidence.
